Royal Python Care sheet

Royal pythons care is similar to that of the Corn snakes.Though some differences are still there.

Housing:

Hatchlings can be housed in RUBS (plastic boxes) that are the same length as the snake and upgraded as the snake grows. And an single adult could live its life in an 3ft long viv.

Heating:

The hot side of a RP's viv should be around 90-95*f (35ish*c) and a cool side of around 80*f-85*f.

Humidity:

The ambient humidity should be kept at aroung 60% or a moist hide can be provided.

Feeding:

Feed your RP, appropriately sized rodents every 10-14 days.

Substrate:

Newspaper, paper towels, woodshavings, tiles *be careful or scented woodshavings and other substrates as allergic reactions can happen*

Watering:

A water bowl big enough for the RP to fit in should be used so the royal can soak or 'bath' in the bowl. Some may soak or some may just ignore it and just purely only drink from the bowl. The water should be changed daily.
